Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the University of Kurdistan and the "MADAD" Student Skills and Income Project Office

To effectively utilize the institutional capacities of the university and the potential of non-governmental and philanthropic sectors, and to synergize capabilities and resources in the promotion of skill acquisition and job creation for university students, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the University of Kurdistan and the "MADAD" (Student Skills and Income) Project Office.

Key Areas of Cooperation:

  1. Financial Support: Providing financial assistance (for individuals or groups) for effective vocational skills training for interested students.

  2. Startup Funding: Financing the launch of student-led micro-enterprises through interest-free loans from the "Employment Empowerment Fund."

  3. Promoting Entrepreneurship Culture: Organizing book-reading competitions focused on topics of entrepreneurship, employment, skill development, and income generation.

  4. Student Association: Establishing the "MADAD Student Association for Skills and Income" to serve as the student-led engine for guiding and implementing the project.

  5. Faculty Mentor Network: Creating a communication network of cultural advisors and interested faculty members to provide specialized mentorship to students in skill development and launching low-cost businesses.
