President of the University of Kurdistan Commends Provincial Traffic Police
According to the Public Relations of the University Security Management, on the afternoon of Sunday, July 12, 2026 (21 Tir 1405), an appreciation ceremony was held for senior commanders of the provincial traffic police, attended by the University President, the Representative of the Supreme Leader’s Office, and the Security Director.
During the meeting held at the President's Office, Adel Siosermardeh, President of the University of Kurdistan, expressed his gratitude for the valuable cooperation of the provincial traffic police with the university, particularly in organizing examinations. He highlighted the significant role of the Law Enforcement Force (FARAJA) in ensuring public tranquility and addressing social concerns. Emphasizing existing collaborations, he announced the university's readiness to expand these partnerships.
Colonel Hemmatizadeh, Chief of the Provincial Traffic Police, noted the university's unique position in solving social issues through scientific approaches. He called for the university's specialized involvement in addressing provincial traffic congestion and announced the formation of a specialized working group to explore further cooperation between the two institutions.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of plaques of appreciation to Hemmatizadeh (Provincial Traffic Police Chief), Azizi (Deputy Chief), Zandi (Operations Deputy), and Yousefi (Chief of Sanandaj Traffic Police).
